Note:
1. For 3.5" IDE drivers and old SATA hard drives, you need to connect the included 12V/2A power adapter and 4-pin power cable. Please connect it well and turn on the switch on the USB3.0 to IDE/SATA adapter in the last step.
2. Please use the included 1 metre long USB 3.0 data cable instead of another long data cable.
3. If the device cannot be read, please connect the data cable to the rear USB port of your computer and try again.
4. Check in Disk Management (or Device Manager) to see if the connected SSD/HHD drives are detected by the computer. If the hard drives are not yet partitioned, partition them before use. Otherwise, they will not be recognized by the computer or displayed in Disk Management.
5. If the hard drives are rotating but are not shown in Disk Management, try to format and re-partition them. Your partition method may not be compatible with this adapter.
6. If your drive is more than 2TB, please try to format it and use GPT (GUID partition table) to partition it.
